Privacy Policy

The short version

Tabtrac doesn't have a server, doesn't require an account, and doesn't collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or usage data of any kind. Everything you enter — earnings, clients, notes, and receipts — stays on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, syncs privately across your own devices. No one else, including the developer, can see it.

What data Tabtrac stores

Earning entries (amount, date, client, note) and any receipts you attach (photos or PDFs) are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks.

iCloud sync

If you're signed into iCloud, Tabtrac uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your own devices, stored in the private database of your personal iCloud account. This sync is end-to-end within Apple's infrastructure — Tabtrac has no server of its own, so there is no intermediary that can read, store, or transmit your data elsewhere. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

What Tabtrac does not do

• No account or sign-up, ever
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No third-party SDKs
• No data sold or shared with anyone

Permissions

Tabtrac may ask for access to your camera, photo library, or Files app — only when you choose to attach a receipt. These are used solely to attach the file you select to an entry; nothing is uploaded anywhere outside your own iCloud sync.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all local data. If you use iCloud sync, you can also delete Tabtrac's data from your iCloud account in your device's Settings, under your Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Given how Tabtrac works, that's unlikely to happen often.
